Craven Fawcett, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of clay preparation machinery and a division of Group Rhodes, has announced it will be a Gold sponsor of the Claytech exhibition, held at the Newark showground, UK on 24th November.
Craven Fawcett will be exhibiting alongside SABO Brick & Tile, which is one of the world’s leading companies in constructing turnkey plants for brick and tile production. Craven Fawcett is the UK distributor of SABO’s manufacturing equipment, which includes automatic setting and de-hacking machinery with and without robotic assemblies, together with the supply of tunnel kilns and dryers.
The company will also be sharing a stand with Teide Refractories of Spain, for which Craven Fawcett is the exclusive distributor of the company’s refractory materials to the UK ceramics industry.
Teide’s refractory knowledge, combined with Craven Fawcett’s kiln car fabrication capability, means the two companies can provide a complete kiln car design and build service. This solution is delivered through Craven Fawcett’s own in-house team of highly trained and experienced engineers, who are based at the company’s production facility in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Craven Fawcett’s sister company Hallamshire Engineering Services will also be on the stand demonstrating its materials handling solutions including equipment and spare parts for the clay preparation and brick industry.
Glynn Dixon, Contracts Manager at Craven Fawcett, said: “Claytech is a great opportunity for us to showcase our clay preparation equipment expertise and we are particularly proud to be Gold sponsors this year. We will be bringing to life the benefits of various Craven Fawcett machinery and equipment through an interactive virtual reality software display on the stand.”
With a 175 year history of designing and supplying equipment for the heavy clay and ceramics industry, Craven Fawcett manufactures a wide range of clay preparation machinery from Box Feeders and Grinding Mills through to Mixers and Extruders. The company’s equipment is exported throughout the world and is renowned for its robustness and production efficiency.
ClayTech UK 2022 will include a professional development programme and a series of Supplier Showcase sessions. It is organised by IOM Communications Ltd on behalf of the International Clay Technology Association of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and the Education and Training Trust Operating Committee of the Clay Technology subgroup.
